They have not broken or torn or ripped - which was something that I worried about because they play so rough! All in all, I'm super happy, so is my boyfriend and all his friends, with the flags. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to play any team sport. The flags are nice and thick. The belt could stand to be a little wider, it's only about 3/4". I also bought a red set that was for some reason $10 cheaper than any other color. I expect these will last for years. I'm glad I didn't cheap out and buy something less expensive. The belts fray very easily and I have tried to use fray check but it does not fully stop it from happening. Since I'm using these for elementary grades the frequently fiddle with them which does not help so.... Otherwise they work great.
